Kidney Stones » symptoms


Many kidney stones are small and they pass freely. Stones which are large only are lodged in the ureter and cause pain.

Symptoms:

• Hematuria - Blood in the urine

• Pyuria - pus in the urine

• Severe pain at one or both sides of  back

• Bloody or cloudy urine

• Nausea

• Vomiting

• Pain during urination

• Urinary tract infection

• Fever and chills

• Loss of Appetite

• Loss of weight

• Feel sick

• Tenderness in the abdomen and kidney region

• Increased frequency of urination
