Doctor's Response (Posted on : 11 Mar 2008 )

IVF is done on trial-error-retrial basis, you have been treated with lupride. Lupride is a Gonadotrophic Receptor agonist (GnRHa) and is targetted at releasing the estrogen hormones and to promote ovulation. If you the estrogen reponse has failed your options are decreasing. Did you get an ultrasound scan for evaluation of ovulation ? Lupride is an expensive and painful injection and have side effects and increases risk of multiple pregnancies. You may need an egg donation if the process is not fruitful the next time.
