Question (Posted on :  29 Jan 2009 )

The treatment is correct but it may or may not work in some patients, the problem in PCOD is that the ovulation may not happen inspite of the treatment or the endometrial thickness may not be enough. Did you get an ultrasound scan the first cycle when it failed... in reply to this ihad scn done for follicular rupture at that time the endometrium size had increased by 2 mms which was 8 mms earlier so how much should it be to confirm and whn is the sacn to be done plz guide me...
Doctor's Response (Posted on : 29 Jan 2009 )

Your endometrial thickness seems to be appropriate for conception, you don't need any further scan. We assume that you had follicular rupture and that your husband's semen analysis was normal. You will have to wait for another cycle before further evaluation.
