I am 38 weeks 2 days pregnant. My babies head is engaged now and doctors says my cervix is dilated (1 finger as per her measurement). My doctor suggested that I can have induced labour if I wish because of my personal reasons like relatives visiting and choice of date. Is Induction risky or can raise more complications.What are the techniques that she can use for induction in my case?

It is better to go for normal labours pains. But If you are so keen for induction let your doctor decide the method of induction.
