Doctor's Response (Posted on : 19 Mar 2009 )

#13;#10;I am i addicted to it for whole life? as withdrawl is painful as well scary. Clonazepam addiction is common and can be treated by replacing with diazepam. However this has to be done under medical supervision.#13;#10;Is there any other non addictive anti depressent which can erase the problem of benzodiazepines. By default all antidepressants are addictive. #13;#10;How much time i'll take to withdraw as my all tests viz LFT, esr ,sugar,thyroid are all normal and within range. Depends on each person and the withdrawl regimen used.#13;#10;I 'm childless for the past 3 years and wish to start the family soon,is it possible for me to have a normal child? If your thyroid problem and TB are cured you have a chance, but it may require assisted reproduction.#13;#10;i badly need a genuine advice on anti depressents. if once started is it true that they are for lifetime . Generally yes, it is a raging debate on how to solve this - for now we don't know how.#13;#10;What are natural/home remedial and herbal alternatives for anti depressents? St. John's Wort, folic acid, methionine, tryptophan, vitamin B6 are used as natural remedies for depression. These limited scientific evidence related to their efficacy. #13;#10;
