Doctor's Response (Posted on : 21 Oct 2008 )

The clinical details you supply are insufficient for me to give you very specific advice. However you could send a photograph or even a biopsy with your local doctors report on the basic diagnosis considered in your case. Balding need not be an incurable or vexatious problem, with more details, i may be able to guide to you better on the options available to you. From what you say, the problem appears to be alopecia areata, which should have got treated by now and there are still several options available for you.
