Question (Posted on :  21 Oct 2008 )

I am an Engineer by profession (Age : 40 Years, Male) working on shift duties in a power plant.I have been taking one STAMACE 5 mg a day for hypertension for the past one and a half years and the value is maintaining at 130/90 mm of Hg.Every time after I take bath I find both my eyes becoming reddish and slowly returning to normal in about one or two hours time.People who see me that time ask me " What happened to your eyes ? " .Otherwise I neither get any irritation nor any difficulty in vision. Some say it because of heat (as I go in shifts with irregular sleeping time). Is it anything to do with my elevated blood pressure?Or do I need to check my eye pressure too ?Please advice me!
Doctor's Response (Posted on : 21 Oct 2008 )

Your symptoms appear to be due to allerigic reaction to the soap or water that you use for your bath. You could try to take care and avoid water or soap entering your eye during your bath.
