Question (Posted on :  23 Oct 2008 )

my brother-in-law,48, is suffering from Diabetes. He is advised to take Glocomate-500. But he takes only capsules. If he takes any tablet, he omits immediately. So is there any capsule you may recommend instead of Glocomate-500 having similar contents ?

Yes, some people do have an issue with metformin, they do well using the imported brand i.e. Cetapin XR. See if he tolerates this well, metformin is a good drug and the gastro side effects usually settle with time.
