Question (Posted on :  24 Oct 2008 )

I am a 45 years old female having fibroids on the outer side of my uterus. I don't have much discomfort except one or two episode of sudden severe pain, which required pain killers. My periods are normal and regular. Should I get my uterus removed?
Doctor's Response (Posted on : 24 Oct 2008 )

Asymptomatic fibroids need not be operated. However, if the pain gets persistent, then you would need a surgery.
