Pregnancy 4 months. Have pain around naval for few seconds 2-3 times a day for last 2 days? Is anything serious? What could be the reason and remeady?There is no other problem and only medicine taken are calcium and iron tablets as prescribed by Dr.The last routine check-up was 15 days ago and everything was normal.

The pain around the navel occurring 2 to 3 times per day in a person on Calcium and Iron tablets, and without any other problems like diarrhea/vomiting/bleeding, is most likely due to the iron tablet. This reaction can be minimised by taking the iron tablets immediately after the meals, instead of between meals. Watch out for other symtoms like fever, vomiting, or diarrhea. If these occur, a repeat examination by the same doctor is necessary.
