Hair loss has many reasons.It can be due to a disease,medicine or stress.Then it would be better to treat the disease or stop the medicine or eliminate the factor causing stress. The medicines available for hair loss include: Minoxidil. Minoxidil (Rogaine) is available and is sprayed on and/or rubbed into the scalp twice a day. Finasteride. Finasteride (Propecia) is taken once daily in pill form. .
