(Posted on : 15 Jan 2009 ) doctor, this month i have gone through laproscopy, doctor said there is some infection and my Igg IgM reports are positive, she diagnosed it as a abdominal T.B. My one tube is removed 2 years back bcoz of ectopic, but the other tube is open and patent. Now i have started AKT-4 for TB treatment, i have to ask that when i can take chance to concieve. All my other reports are normal and there is no infection in Uterus. Thanks, |

Doctor's Response (Posted on : 15 Jan 2009 ) A positive IgM indicates an active infection and the chances of infertility due to TB may be limited as you are getting an early treatment, and if you are regular with your treatment you should not have any significant damage. Unfortunately there is no perfect way to say what the effect of this TB infection will be on your chances for conception. |
